A Letter from our Vice President of Recruitment!

Hello!
My name is Lily Hansen, and I am the Vice President of Recruitment for Pi Alpha Chi. I am from Plattsburg, MO and a Freshman, studying Textiles and Apparel Design! The women of Pi Alpha Chi are so thrilled to welcome you to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the Greek community!

Your time in college will be a time of great personal growth, and you will learn a lot about yourself. Most will experience both times of challenge and times of success. During this time of your life it is important to surround yourself with good people that will support you through your ups and downs. For me, that was Pi Alpha Chi. I have so much fun spending time with my sisters, and we continue to make lasting memories. I think I can honestly say that there is never a dull moment when we are all together. I am so proud and thankful that I get to call these incredible women my sisters.

As you begin to look for your people here at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I hope that you can keep an open mind and heart during your search. Look for people who will inspire you to be the best version of yourself. People that you will feel comfortable being your authentic self around, and not feel pressured to compromise your values for. People that will be there for you when you laugh and when you cry. The women of the Alpha Chapter of Pi Alpha Chi are excited for you to find a community that has all of this. We can't wait to see you all in the fall!

In Christ,

Lily Hansen

Joining a sorority was definitely outside my comfort zone, but when I meant the ladies of Pi Alpha Chi I knew that this sisterhood was something I wanted to be a part of. I am so thankful that God brought these wonderful ladies into my life, and I know that I have made lifelong friendships here."
